One of our long term clients Don, had recently reached a fork in the road moment. He had assisted many hundreds of less fortunate people in recent years and it took some convincing by his partner but it was time for him to start looking inwards and take care of himself and plan for the road ahead. He knew he wanted to do something for himself, but just didn’t know what. He also decided that if he had the finance sorted his offers to purchase would be far more convincing to any Vendor. This his approach with the issue of finance, was with the theme that I’d like to get finance but I’m not quite sure for what yet? Given that he and his partner had done well in repaying their loan and had lots of equity in their property the answer was…Yes you Can.
We were able to re-finance his Home Loan and Cash out equity for future investment. As his partner was keeping her job, we felt that it was responsible to keep the new loan at a manageable level, in the unlikely event that client’s investment fails. (Note the client is so happy with with us he is going to use one of our BF Advice Network of professionals to help ensure success of his new Investment). The new loans were structured in such a way that he could claim for taxation and not be paying interest until such time that he has found the investment to purchase.
