Want to re-finance and cash out some equity in your property for some renovations.  Here is how we helped one client.

We were recently engaged to help a client re-finance their current loan plus some extra cash out to help with some minor renovations on their property.  The client had previously tried to deal directly with the banks but was frustrated with their lack of response and direction.  We were able to sit with the client and decide exactly what they wanted to do.  This uncovered that the loan product the banks were actually trying to encourage was not want they needed and was at a higher interest rate.  We were able to present a couple of options to the client in which they selected the option that they felt most comfortable.  Because of the size and location of the client’s rural property there was some hesitation from some lenders in regards to whether or not they were prepared to use the property as security.  To avoid any hiccups through the application process we organised a qualified valuer to inspect the property prior to submitting the application ensuring it fit the Lenders property criteria, this was at no extra cost to the client.

During the year the husband had some time off (post surgery) which was reflected in his financials, and we helped present a case to allow the loan to proceed with satisfactory evidence that the client was recovered and back at work.

We like to think that the client felt far less stress by getting us to do the running around and chasing the Lenders on their behalf.
