Shelley initially contacted us to see if we could help her reduce the repayments of her loan via our Home Loan Comparison Report. They had just finished the fixed period of the loan, however their variable rate was still reasonably high by comparison to other lenders. Shelley was on maternity leave and had not yet decided on a return date with her employer, thus it was difficult for us to place her in a new loan at a reduced rate. To their credit Shelley and Brendan negotiated a new rate with their current lender and were able to compare the offered rate with other lenders in the market via our comparison report. Our reporting assured them that accepting the new rate from their current lender would be the best financial decision for them.
